To manually add documents to a patient's community records in HIE, follow the steps below. Documents added, at the patient level, can be searched by all practices participating in the HIE.


Uploading a document


1. Search for the patient in HIE's web portal

2. Open Window menu. Select Patient Document

3. Print documents to hPrint
4. Select patient's name, document type, and document date. Click send
